Using slow Japanese style burnt wood (Yakisugi) and stainless steel, the lamp decorates the room with a brutal form and bold aesthetics. The piece radiates a soft, warm spotlight and creates a play of light rays on the ceiling as the steel panes reflect off one another. Perfect to accompany other small lamps or be a single brightness source at late hours.

2. Connection. We get in touch within 24 hours. We'll align on the details and send you a secure payment link for a 50% prepayment. That goes directly into the materials for your piece.

3. Creation. We'll keep you updated as the design takes shape in our hands. The crafting process takes approximately 3 weeks.

4. Shipping. When the piece is complete, the final 50% of the payment is due before we ship it to you.

FAQ

0. Is it real wood?

Yes. It's a real regional wood that we source and burn by ourselves. We use regional pine that's treated to last a lifetime.

1. Does the charred surface stain or brake?

No. We protect it with 5 layers of special wax so it does not stain nor break, while preserving its natural burnt looks.

2. Does it smell like burnt wood?

No. The smell from burning fades after a few days during the creation process. When the lamp arrives to you it does not have any smell.

3. How much light does it give?

In the dark the lamp fills the room with a soft warm light. The metal panes reflect from each other and create a pattern of light rays to the ceiling. Think of it like a mood light or an accent lamp. It does not sufficiently light the room for every day activities.

4. Won't the metal go green or get stained?

We coat the metal with varnish so it does not react to fingerprints. It changes the tone very slowly over the years but does not turn green or oxidize.

5. How long does the order take?

It depends of our current production queue. Once you've filled the order request, we'll contact you and agree on the estimate delivery time. All of our lamps are designed and crafted made-to-order and crafting takes approximately 3 weeks, plus on average 1 week for shipping.

6. Do you give a guarantee?

Yes. We give a lifetime guarantee for our luminaure. We put a maximum attention and care into each piece to make it to last a lifetime and over generations. We want it to be a lasting piece.

7. What if something happens during delivery?

If the lamp arrives to you damaged we take the full responsibility to compensate the situation.

8. How do I know you are legitimate business?

We're registered in the Estonian Business Registry and are regulated by the Estonian and European law. With any complaint it's possible to turn toward Estonian Consumer Protection Authority. We use only formal verified payment method (PayPal) for your and our security. We have customers across Europe and beyond and we're always up to have face to face video call or carry out any other procedure that makes you feel safe.

9. Can I order anything totally custom?

Yes. Just reach us out at custom page.

10. Is the design suitable for outdoors?

By default not but if you let us know about your wish we can make it.

11. Does each lamp have a serial number?

Yes. Every Yaki luminaire is stamped with a unique serial number on the certificate plate. You'll be among a handful of people in the world to own one.
